I know there are times when people make decisions that don't benefit the clan, but there are times when mistakes are made and they need to be taken into context, not blown out of proportion.
I've been busy with a lot of real life stuff recently and haven't been able to war as often as the rest of my clan. I hope to find a point where things settle down and I can be counted in for every war. But until then, I war when I can as good as I can. Unfortunately that means I'm not fully up to speed with some of the changes that have been made to the interface, specifically in regards to the screens leading into war. Now that they have the troop summary, the ability to cancel during the countdown timer is gone. I didn't know that. So I unintentionally forfeited my first attack. I exited because I happen to be in the middle of moving some of my stuff this weekend and got distracted after passing the troop summary.
Am I happy about it? No. Do I feel like I let the clan down? Absolutely. I don't need to be jumped on by other players for it. I came to this family of clans to get away from that kind of attention. I used to watch as an entire clan would rip into someone because they accidentally dropped their spells in the wrong order, or assuming a new player understands every little facet about the game without taking the time to teach them.
And I can't stress this enough: it's a game, on a phone.
Thanks for your time.
I hope to be back into the wars full time here soon. It's been a crazy two months for me.
Peace out, clashers.

Hey man, who was giving you shit? I know we spoke about it. I hope that's not what you're referring to. Shoot me an email at any time to resolve things that are going on in the game. Hobbs mentioned that you've been moving and have been busy. That's no big deal. Play when you can, war when you can. I'm pretty sure everyone feels the same about that. Keep in mind though, some people do take it a bit more seriously than you do. That's not a bad thing or a knock on you or anyone else, either. It's just a fact.
You're not the first one that has backed out of an attack and learned the hard way that you cant. It still happens in tml and most of those dudes are hardcore.
Bottom line though man, if anyone is giving you shit, or anyone else shit, it needs to be nipped in the bud quickly. We ...I don't support that at all.
